PROJECT MANAGER
Overview:
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the business by delivering in-house professional services. This includes comprehensive project management, contract administration, budget preparation, and control. The Project Manager will assist throughout various project stages to development/refurbishment completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues that arise.
- Budget Preparation and Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, providing regular updates to senior management and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal review and external compliance.
- Design and Planning: Ability to design, plan, manage, and monitor works across multiple projects from inception through to completion.
Qualifications:
- Membership of the SCSI, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent is desirable.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the property or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge and experience of the construction process.
- Experience in commercial refurbishment and development is desirable.
Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills are essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
